Reason for this visit

Canada is one of the most "crypto-friendly" countries in the world. In June 2020, the country passed a bill to completely legalize cryptocurrency, and cryptocurrency exchanges are classified as institutions that provide financial services. As a result, Canada has become the market that global crypto exchanges are competing for. In order to help investors understand the country's crypto exchanges more comprehensively, the survey team plans to visit the country on site.

On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the cryptocurrency exchange ECOINBANK in Toronto, Canada, with specific address at 1110 FINCH AVE W SUITE301 Toronto CANADA.

The survey personnel came to the destination of the survey based on the above address, which is an office building located at FINCH Avenue in Toronto, Canada. The investigators did not find the name or logo of the cryptocurrency exchange ECOINBANK on the sign outside the building.

In order to further confirm whether the cryptocurrency exchange ECOINBANK is operating here, the investigators entered the building and came to the Room 301, which was an immigration consulting company called "CANADA FOR ME", not the cryptocurrency exchange ECOINBANK. Due to the COVID-19, they were unable to go upstairs and had to end the visit.

Conclusion

The investigators went to Toronto, Canada to visit the cryptocurrency exchange ECOINBANK,  and only found another company called "CANADA FOR ME" instead of ECOINBANK, which means the given business address might be fake. Please be prudent if trading with this exchange.
